Resident’s Parking Review

(1B, 1G, & 1H)

Lincolnshire County Council is proposing a new four-space permit holder parking bay on Alexandra Terrace as part of the current Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) review.

The proposal would mean vehicles parking partly on the footway to create these additional parking spaces. Around 1 metre of footway would remain for pedestrians, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and double buggies, while still allowing larger vehicles, including emergency services, to get through.

In addition, the two-hour parking bays throughout Zone 1B will allow permit holders to park without time limits, except for bays outside businesses.

HUHRA has been asked whether we support these proposals.

As your residents' association, our role is to represent the views of the majority of residents, so we'd really like to know what you think. Do you support the proposals, have concerns, or have any other comments? Whatever your view, we'd like to hear it.

We'll be holding a vote at our Special General Meeting on Thursday 10th September, at 6.30pm at The Joiners Arms, and the outcome will help shape HUHRA's response to Lincolnshire County Council.

If you're unable to attend the meeting, please send us your comments by Wednesday 9th September so your views can still be taken into account.
