Concerned About Proposals To Allow Late-Night Pizza Deliveries?
Speak Up!
Pizza Hut is applying to extend delivery hours at their Lincoln North branch on West Parade to:
09:00–02:00 Monday to Saturday
09:00–Midnight Sundays & Bank Holidays
This means deliveries could continue late into the night in a mainly residential area. If you are concerned that this will affect you and your community, you can submit a planning objection.

Why You Might Be Concerned
Noise & Sleep Disturbance: Late-night deliveries bring associated traffic noise and driver activity when people are trying to sleep.
Public Nuisance: Continuous late-night activity can disturb residents and affect quality of life.
Parking & Safety Issues: Delivery drivers already park on pavements and block access to Victoria Street, making roads less safe for pedestrians, and other vehicles. Extending hours will make this worse.
Odour & Mechanical Noise: Fans and extraction systems will run later, potentially spreading odours and adding to late-night noise.
Tips
Individual unique personal letters carry more weight than group submissions.
Share your personal experience or concerns about noise, safety, or community impact.
If you’re concerned encourage your neighbours to write their own letters too; the more voices, the stronger the response!
Even a brief letter can help ensure the Local Planning Authority hears from the community.
The Burton Arms late 1960’s
Run as a grocery and bakery for 20 years by Richard and Emma Burton their business finally gained a beer licence in 1903.
The Burton Arms was actually one of three pubs that once stood along Victoria Street. After serving the community for 110 years it sadly closed in 2013, and is now the Lincoln North branch of Pizza Hut.
