  • Night At The Races Fundraiser

Thursday 11th December, 7.30pm, The Joiners Arms.

A huge thankyou to everyone who so generously supported this event. The HUHRA and Joiners Arms Community helped raise a fantastic £124! This will go directly towards HUHRA’s running costs and the community projects and events we deliver throughout the year.

A special thank you to the residents of 24 Alexandra Terrace, who kindly donated a tub of sweets originally intended for our HUHRAween event. These were instead used as a prize for the fundraiser.  Thank you for such thoughtful generosity.

  • HUHRA General Meeting

To avoid the January Blues our General Meeting scheduled for Monday 19th January has been rearranged for Monday 16th February, 7pm, at The Joiners Arms!

We look forward to seeing everyone bright-eyed and bushy-tailed next month!

  • Committee Meeting

    Monday 12th January 2026, 6.00 - 7.45pm, The Joiners Arms

Committee meetings are where committee members get together to keep the Association's work on track between general meetings, making sure we're hitting our goals.

These are usually held every first Monday of the month at The Joiners Arms from 6pm

Drop us a message if there's anything you'd like to chat about or bring up.

We’re still looking for more General Committee Members, and you can join us anytime! It’s a great way to get involved and make a difference locally. If you’d like more information, even if you’re just curious about what we do, pop in for a chat at any of our Committee Meetings. We’d love to have you with us!

  • Annual General Meeting Thanks

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual General Meeting. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to welcome Martin, Heike, Helen, Gavin, and Carrie as new members of the HUHRA community!

For those who were unable to attend, the new committee was elected (Beatrice as Chair; Jessie as Secretary, and Dan and Paul as General Members), the constitution was adapted to be more “user friendly”, and our boundary was extended.

We are delighted to be able to tell you that we now also represent households along: ‘upper’ Beaumont Fee; Spring Hill (odds only from Beaumont Court); Drury Lane (West Castle House only); Carline Road (evens only, including Highview and The Heights); and Yarborough Road from 135-1 (odds only).

Beatrice is covering the Treasurer role for now, but we need someone to step in permanently. We’re also looking for new General Committee members ,especially students, to help connect neighbours and shape our community. Got ideas or time to share? Jump in and make a difference!

  • HUHRA's Great Community Clean Up

    Saturday 25th April 2026, 2-4PM

    More Information

Our last community clean-up was a success in spirit but a little short on helping hands; only Beatrice and Dan turned up to tackle the task! While we still completed a litter pick, it’s clear that if we want to keep this regular event going, we’ll need more of you to get involved. After all, this is your community, and it thrives when we all pitch in. You asked for this initiative, so please show your support next time! Grab your gloves, bring a smile, and help us keep our neighbourhood looking its best!

The community clean-up scheduled for January 24th, 2026 has been cancelled, so our next one will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026.

Mark your calendars and come join in!

Grab your gloves, roll up your sleeves, and join the neighbourhood litter-busting crew! Two hours of fun, fresh air, and teamwork: then reward yourself at our Bring & Share Volunteer’s Buffet with friends old and new. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Meet at 1.45pm at The Joiners Arms, Victoria Street, West Parade, Lincoln, LN1 1HU
